Oak&Pine Community Support

Oak & Pine Community Support Network was created after seeing the growing challenges faced by low-income youth and newcomer youth in Calgary. Many young people are struggling with housing instability, education gaps, cultural differences, lack of mentorship, and the risk of becoming involved in crime or becoming victims of crime.

Our organization focuses on guiding and mentoring youth ages 11 to 29, especially those facing difficult family, housing, school, or community challenges. We help connect youth and families to local housing supports, encourage young people to stay in school and complete their education, and support them in finding part-time job opportunities, local mentors, and positive community connections.

At Oak & Pine, we believe prevention starts with care, guidance, and opportunity. By supporting youth early, we help them stay away from crime, build confidence, understand their future options, and feel connected to a safe and supportive community. Our goal is to help every young person feel valued, protected, and prepared for a better future in Calgary and the Greater Calgary area.
